Did you notice how clean and tidy Shaw Rd was, the day after the night before? ie on Monday, two days after our big Xmas Festival there was barely a paper bag to be found - all swept up and spotless. Our volunteer team did the best they could on Saturday night but the fact that the street is nice & clean once again is down to this man: Matt our Heatons (unsung) hero! yes, we know he gets paid and its his jb, but he's a great public servant, never complaining and always modest and super-efficient. #ShawRoad #StockportMBC ... A festive hello to the Heatons!

This is an urgent appeal for Santas and little (or large) helpers.

Our local Heatons Rotary are in urgent need as they have a few Santa and his Sleigh slots that need filling, which are:

FATHER CHRISTMAS (men only, sorry ladies)
Saturday 3rd December 2 - 4 pm (Town Centre)
Friday 9th December 12 - 2 (Town Centre)
Saturday 10th December 4 - 6 (Tesco Burnage)

SLEDGE DRIVERS (who can tow)
Saturday 3rd December 10 - 12 am (Town Centre)
Friday 9th December 2 - 4 pm (Town Centre)
Saturday 10th December 12 - 2 pm (Tesco Burnage)

COLLECTORS
Friday 9th December 2 - 4 pm (Town Centre) 2 Collectors
Saturday 10th December 4 - 6 pm (Tesco Burnage)

The money raised will all go to local good causes and Santa will put you on his 'nice' list.

If anyone can help, please contact Bernice Giblin of the Rotary Lamplighters here: bernice70@btinternet.com

Many thanks and Merry Chrismas!
